How much does it cost to ride the bus?
It costs 12 pesos for buses running in the hotel zone, they have air conditioning, and it cost 10 pesos to ride buses in the city out of the hotel zone.
Are the Buses Air Conditioned?
The buses in the hotel zone are air conditioned but the city buses are not.
Are the buses wheelchair accessible?
No, none of the buses can accomodate a wheelchair.
Can I get off the bus and back on again?
No, you have to pay everytime you get on a bus.
Whats the purpose of the paper receipt you are given when boarding?
Its just a receipt and means nothing. You can through it away. It does not allow you to reboard the bus once you get off. You will have top pay the bus fare again once you get back on.
Is there any room for luggage on the bus?
No the seats do not have much leg room and there is no storage area for luggage.
What are the operating hours for the buses?
Buses in the hotel zone run 24/7. Buses in the city run till 6 am - 10 pm 7 days a week
Who needs to pay to get on the bus?
If a child or infant can sit in your lap then typically they do not have to pay. If a child or person takes up a seat or standing position then they have to pay to ride.
Are the buses equipped with amenities for disabled passengers?
The buses have bars to hold on to while sitting as well as standing.
Are pets allowed on the bus?
No, there are no pets allowed to board the bus.
Are there any discounts for people riding the bus?
No discounts for anyone. The fare is always the same.
Are there bus routes to see where the buses ruin in Cancun?
No, there are so many buses that take differrent paths throughout the city there is no central site to show them all.
Can you pay the bus fare with US dollars?
Yes you can pay in US dollars the bus driver will charge you $1 for each passenger.
